Lesley Warren is married and is a mother of two beautiful children. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and experiencing the outdoors. She is a Reiki and Karuna Ki Master and is dedicated to finding the light in the world.
Lesley was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. A, then small, suburb of Toronto which has now grown into just an extension of the big city. Her parents were typical middle class working people. Her father a foreman with the Hydro and part time Jazz guitarist and her mother a secretary. Both parents worked full time to support the family of 5. Lesley is the youngest of three sisters, so the spotlight has been on her from a very young age.
Lesley grew up learning that hard work was the only way to make it in this world. Nothing was ever just handed to you. Her father was a strong advocate of education and stressed the importance of constantly learning. She has always taken this to heart and lives to emulate her father's persistance in everything she does.
Lesley was always the "Tom Boy". She played softball and used that same drive and persistence to get to the top of her game. Nothing is ever done half heartedly - she HAS to be the best at everything she does. She excelled in school and was promoted to the gifted classes in middle school but quickly learned as she entered high school that her passion was in the arts. She immersed herself in drama and music classes and knew that she was going to be involved in some area of performance or media arts as a career.
After graduating from high school, Lesley attended Sheridan College where she studied Television Production. She graduated in 1990 and held a position with a local television station before relocating to Florida. She spent several years in Florida where she gained more experience in television production as an Editor, Camera Operator and Production Assistant. After spending this time behind the scenes, Lesley began to realize that she would really rather be the face in front of the camera. She moved to Atlanta, GA where she held many different, unfulfilling jobs before she decided it was time to get some training and follow her passion for acting.
Lesley began training with Sandra Dorsey in the Stanislavski technique. She continued her training with The Second City during a short return to Toronto and started getting roles in independent productions, theater and did some background work for several major films.
Lesley now resides in a small city north of Atlanta. She is continually studying and perfecting her skills as an Actress within the growing industry in the Southeast. She has been busy building a foundation and strong reputation in independent short films and features and is pursuing a career in commercial and mainstream Television and Film productions.
